Beacon Mobility is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver/Trainer to support routes in Fitchburg, MA and nearby areas. The role combines driving duties with trainer responsibilities, including developing training plans and materials for staff.

A CDL Class B with P & S endorsements and MA certification as a trainer (or willingness to obtain) are required. Ideal candidates maintain a safe driving record, pass background checks, and are fluent in English.

## School Bus Driver/TrainerApply: Fitchburg, MA: Chelmsford, MA: Hanson: Newbury, MA: Part time: Posted Yesterday: REQ-2026-4507NRT Bus, Inc.**\\*\\*\\*Candidates who are MA-Certified School Bus Trainers are eligible for up to $5000 sign on bonus\\*\\*\\*** Pay rate: $30-$35/hour depending on location/route assignments **Driver Responsibilities*** Safely transport students to and from school and events* Drive assigned local routes* Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections* Maintain a clean, safe vehicle* Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff* Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies **Trainer Responsibilities*** Develop a schedule to assess training needs.* Conduct employee surveys and interviews.* Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership.* Track and compile collected data.* Conceptualize training materials based on data and research.* Communicate training needs and online resources.* Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials.* Contact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology.* Test and review created materials.* Maintain a database of all training materials.* Instruct employee training and onboarding.* Conduct training through new materials.* Review employee performance and learning.* Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Requirements*** **CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements**--at least 2 years experience* MA-Certified School Bus Trainer + Or willing to obtain, we provide training* Valid DOT medical card* Safe driving record* Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience* Ability to pass background check & drug screening* Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)Beacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
