The PHILADELPHIA SCHOOL DISTRICT is hiring a full-time Bus Driver to operate school buses for transportation of students on scheduled routes and field trips. Candidates with or without a CDL may apply, but must obtain a Class A or B CDL with appropriate endorsements. This position involves supervising student behavior, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and performing light maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualified candidates must meet age and licensing requirements while providing safe, reliable transportation for students and staff.

Formación

• Possession of a valid proper class motor vehicle operator’s license issued by Pennsylvania.
• Must obtain a Class A or B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements.
• Minimum age requirement of 21.

Responsabilidades

• Drives school buses for student transportation.
• Supervises students' behavior while on the bus.
• Cleans and maintains vehicles.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of Pennsylvania traffic laws

Ability to operate a vehicle safely

Ability to maintain effective working relationships
