Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate school buses of any size and related equipment.
• Acceptable driving record
• Successfully complete the School Bus Driver physical.
• Pre-employment FMCSA DOT Drug Screen
• Eligible for CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement
• Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with students, parents, supervisor and fellow workers

Responsibilities

• Arrive to class on time every day and exceptional attendance.
• Participate in book study
• Active participation in Theory, Range, and Behind the Wheel Training
• Complete written assessments
• Obtain their full license in a time span no longer than 8 weeks
• Must pass Commercial Driver's License ("CDL") test on no more than 4 attempts
