First Student, Inc. is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Grandview, MO. You will start with morning pickup and transport students home in the afternoon, with potential hours for field trips and events. Training is provided to help you become a safe, professional driver.

The role offers flexible weekday hours, a guaranteed minimum for 20 hours per week, and opportunities for advancement across many locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with split AM/PM routes; weekdays only.
• No nights, weekends, holidays, or summers required.
• DOT drug testing for safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service.
