Contract Period: Regular 9.5 Month Position Prorated for the 2025-2026 School Year
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold a valid Alabama CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements. Must have a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Must be trained for loading, unloading, and transporting handicap students. MUST be able to pass initial and random drug testing.

POSITION TITLE: School Bus Driver
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Alabama driver’s license, CDL with valid P & S endorsements, and Alabama school bus driver’s certificate. Must meet and maintain standards required by county vehicle insurance policy. DOT Health card or Alabama School Bus Driver Physical Examination Report. Such alternatives to the above, including health requirements, as the Board may find appropriate.
