Qualifications

• Must have strong English reading and writing skills to communicate with students, parents and staff.
• Reliable, punctual and able to perform duties in varying conditions.
• Hold a Class B CDL (or higher) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Maintain DOT medical certification and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Conduct child checks after each route.
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes.
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle.
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records.
• Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
