Job summary

BGCSA is seeking a dependable Bus Driver to transport students along designated routes in the San Antonio area. The role ensures student safety, performs vehicle checks, and assists students with boarding and alighting while adhering to schedules.

Requirements include 23+ years old, a Texas CDL with passenger endorsement or Class A/B with passenger certificate, and a clean driving record. Position involves on-site work and routine route planning.

Qualifications

• Must be 23+ years of age.
• Hold a valid Texas Class B, Class A with passenger endorsement or CDL with passenger certificate.
• Clean driving record with safe driving history.
• Proficient in basic first aid and safety procedures.
• Able to read/write and follow written instructions.
• Capable of managing student conduct on vehicle and during trips.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school and activity sites on assigned routes.
• Maintain order and ensure safety of passengers at all times.
• Assist students boarding and alighting the bus as needed.
• Adhere to traffic laws and organizational policies.
• Perform routine fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness of buses and vans.
• Prepare mileage, passenger counts, and other reports as required.
