Job summary

Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation of students to and from school in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with federal and state law and school board policy.
• Complete a pre-trip daily inspection of their vehicle.
• Complete a ridership form listing students riding the bus, their pickup and discharge times, address and grade.
• Provide for the appropriate management of student behavior while riding the bus.
• Provide for the appropriate management of special needs students consistent with training provided on these students.
• Attend in-service meetings twice a year.
• Provide for the proper maintenance scheduled for their vehicle, provide for the cleanliness of the vehicle, and,
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Transportation.
