Job summary

A local educational institution in Sierra Vista, AZ, is seeking Bus Drivers to ensure the safety and proper transport of students and staff during school activities. Candidates must have a valid Motor Vehicle License and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Qualifications

• Must have a current Motor Vehicle Operator's (DMV) License.
• Must possess a valid Arizona School Bus Driver Certificate.
• Previous experience working as a bus driver for a school district is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of students and staff on all school activities.
• Safely drives a school bus over designated routes.
• Transports students, teachers, and others on school field trips.
• Inspects assigned bus daily to ensure it is in safe working order.
• Reports mechanical deficiencies, traffic violations, or accidents promptly.

Skills

Valid Driver’s License with good driving record

Current CDL with 'S' School Bus and 'P' Passenger Endorsements

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
