Job summary

Manor Independent School District Transportation in Manor, Texas is seeking a Bus Driver (180 Days) to ensure safe student transportation on assigned routes. Immediate starting date with duties including route adherence, safety inspections, and daily parent/teacher communication.

Qualified candidates will hold a Texas CDL with P and S endorsements, be at least 18, and pass required safety and drug tests. Prior driving experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to communicate effectively and supervise students.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned route and established schedules.
• Drive bus to and from extracurricular activities.
• Inspect the bus for safety before and after operation and report repairs.
• Maintain records of mileage, fuel, passengers, and incidents.
• Supervise students boarding and alighting the bus and address behavior as needed.
