Job summary

Distinctive Schools of IL is seeking a School Bus Driver to transport students along established routes between CICS Bucktown and CICS West Belden in Chicago. This full-time position reports to the Director of Transportation and begins September 2026.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CDL-B license required.
• Successful background check.
• Good driving record.
• Prior school transportation experience preferred.
• Flexibility to switch routes as needed.
• Must possess physical ability to perform all required work.
• Knowledge of basic radio, routing and attendance software

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school and events along established routes.
• Drive safely and follow timetables and transit regulations.
• Assist passengers with disabilities as needed.
• Maintain vehicles in safe operating condition and report issues.
• Collaborate with school staff and supervisors as part of a team.
