Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Alabama driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDL with school bus endorsement and certification.

Responsibilities

• Notify supervisor and payroll contact when absent and reason.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per state guidelines; maintain route reports.
• Maintain discipline and safety while transporting students; report discipline issues.
• Transport students to and from school on assigned routes; follow schedules.
• Complete required evaluation drills and assist with evacuations when needed.
