Job summary

Pine Tree ISD in Longview, Texas is seeking a Bus Driver - Regular to provide safe, orderly transportation for students on assigned routes. This non-exempt role reports to the Operations Specialist/Director of Transportation and starts immediately.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent; Texas CDL with passenger and student endorsements; Texas School Bus Driver Certification; ability to pass the required physical; and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Texas CDL with passenger and student endorsements.
• Texas School Bus Driver Certification.
• Must pass school bus driver physical examination.
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned route and scheduled times.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Report accidents, damages and mechanical issues.
• Keep the bus clean and fueled; assist in minor maintenance.
• Ensure student safety and proper conduct on the bus.
