Job summary

COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION is seeking safe drivers to transport children to and from school on established routes in Jaffrey and Rindge, NH. You will work with a local management team and receive paid training to safely perform your duties.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, with a pay range of $27.00–$28.50 per hour. Candidates must be 21+, have at least 3 years of verifiable driving history, maintain a clean driving record, and be willing to obtain a CDL; pre-employment background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable driving history.
• Clean driving record in last 3 years and ability to obtain CDL.
• Pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops on the route.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.
• As requested or desired to take field trips, activity trips and charter runs to transport students and other passengers to and from their destinations.
