Benton Community School District in east central Iowa is seeking a Bus Driver to support 18 regular routes across the district. Will help obtain a Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements and provides paid training.

Regular route driver wage is $99.40/day. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, clean driving record, background check, pre-employment drug screening, and certification as a school bus driver.

Qualifications

• Pass a school bus knowledge test.
• Pass a driving skills test in a school bus.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Become trained and certified as a school bus driver.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a smooth and efficient transportation system for the District.
• Perform the job with efficiency and accuracy with attention to children.
• Keep the District's automobiles and buses in a state of operating excellence so that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.
