Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a Charter Driver in the United States to transport clients to and from destinations with safety and excellent customer service. The role involves operating a school bus, following traffic laws, performing pre/post trip inspections, and maintaining CDL certifications with required endorsements.

Training is provided, and scheduling is flexible, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and have a valid driver’s license for 3+ years.
• Satisfactory driving record (no suspensions).
• Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI.
• CDL B with S&P endorsements OR willing to obtain them.
• Willing to drive to a variety of locations.
• Need to be flexible with last minute changes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus to transport passengers safely and on time with provided directions.
• Assess traffic and road conditions and monitor passenger behavior.
• Follow all state and federal traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
• Maintain CDL and state school bus certifications and compliance with driving records requirements.
• Assist passengers onto and off the vehicle when necessary.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and safety checks as required.
