Durham School Services is seeking a Non-CDL Driver in Grass Valley, CA. The role begins as Driver in Training with structured training to obtain required endorsements and to learn company policies. Upon successful completion, you transition to a Non-CDL Driver.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age; Tennessee drivers at least 25 by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and reliable transportation by operating a school bus or other vehicle on a fixed or changing route.
• Exhibits ethical conduct and reports concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior.
• Reports on time to duty and maintains route schedule safely.
• Assists passengers during evacuation in emergencies.
• Immediately reports any accident or incident per company policy.
• Follows company policy on student and passenger management.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times.
• Completes required paperwork and submits to the appropriate authority promptly.
• Maintains cooperative attitude with colleagues, customers, and passengers to promote goodwill.
• Safely uses equipment such as wheelchair lifts, radios, and emergency gear.
• Performs additional duties as assigned; Paratransit duties may apply per location.
