School Bus Driver - No Exp Needed - Training Provided

Hiring Immediately - No Experience Needed - Training Provided

Starting Wage - $18.65/Hour Benefits & Training Wage - $14.81/Hour.

Location - 877 Research Dr., C/O DURHAM 3043, Woodland Park, 80863

Sign-On Bonus - $2,000 for non-CDL holders and $5,000 for current CDL holders with P & S endorsements.

All interested applicants for a Driver position, including those fully qualified with a commercial driver's license, begin as a Driver in Training. We invest significant resources in training and development.

A Driver in Training will be trained to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) and related endorsements, learning our Company policies and procedures. Upon successful completion of the training program, the Driver in Training will be placed in a Professional Driver role.

Responsibilities Include
  • Providing safe and reliable transportation service by operating a school bus or other location-specific vehicle.
  • Exhibiting the highest ethical standards and personal integrity.
  • Reporting to duty on time and maintaining route schedules safely.
  • Physically assisting passengers in vehicle evacuation during emergencies.
  • Reporting any accidents or incidents per Company policy.
  • Following Company Policy regarding student and passenger management.
  • Informing appropriate personnel of problems/procedures.
  • Presenting a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Completing all required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a cooperative attitude with fellow employees and passengers.
  • Safely utilizing vehicle equipment, including wheelchair lifts and emergency equipment.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Additional responsibilities for Paratransit Drivers may apply per location.
Requirements Include
  • Must be at least 21 years of age; 25 years for Tennessee School Bus Drivers.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain all valid state licenses and required certifications.
  • Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
  • Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training.
  • Must practice defensive driving and safe work habits.
  • Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local Driver requirements.
