Job summary

Durham School Services is hiring School Bus Drivers in New Jersey. No experience needed; we provide training and support to obtain a CDL. Walk-In interviews are welcome with no appointment needed, and there are flexible part-time options with split shifts.

Starting pay is $27.00–$28.00 per hour with a training rate of $15.00 per hour and guaranteed 20 hours per week. Benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) are available at some locations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no CDL needed to start.
• Held a driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Minimum age: 21.
• Pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Compliance with DOT regulations; marijuana is prohibited.
• Reliable attendance and a safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus on assigned local routes.
• Transport students to and from school, sports, and events.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe bus environment.
• Communicate courteously with students, parents, and school staff.
• Follow all federal, state, local, and company safety rules.
