Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a School Bus Driver in Montana to transport students and participate in daily operations with emphasis on safety and clear communication with students and parents.

Responsibilities include assisting passengers, performing vehicle checks, and adhering to all regulations. Training is provided; wage starts at $21.40/hour; benefits include 401(k), dental, vision, life insurance, and PTO; relocation to Noxon, MT may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain a Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements.
• FMCSA regulations knowledge and US DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.
• First Aid/CPR certification either required or preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication with students, parents, and team members.
• Ability to operate in various weather and traffic conditions.

Job description

Position: School Bus Driver

Role & Responsibilities

• Transport students: Safely drive students to and from school and activities, following safety procedures and traffic regulations.
• Maintain safety & communication: Enforce bus rules, address behavioral issues, and communicate with students and parents effectively.
• Assist passengers: Help students board and unload, including those with wheelchair or adaptive needs.
• Vehicle inspection & maintenance: Conduct daily bus inspections, perform basic maintenance tasks, and report deficiencies.
• Compliance: Follow all Federal, State, and District rules and laws concerning school bus operation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, with a clean driving record.
• Compliance with FMCSA regulations and possession of US DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred or required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and team members.
• Ability to work in various weather and traffic conditions.
