Qualifications

Responsibilities Include

• Transport students promptly to and from school and activities, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Operate school buses safely in various weather and traffic conditions, complying with traffic laws.
• Communicate bus rules and safety expectations to passengers and address behavioral issues effectively.
• Coordinate with parents regarding student behavior when necessary.
• Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, during boarding and unloading.
• Conduct daily bus inspections, perform basic maintenance, and report any deficiencies.
• Follow all federal, state, and district laws related to bus operation.

Qualifications And Skills

• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, with a clean driving record.
