Towne Bus LLC is actively seeking reliable drivers to transport students to and from school with a focus on safety and timeliness. You will operate school buses or vans, monitor routes and student behavior, and ensure compliance with all laws and district policies.

New hires may receive PAID CDL training if needed, with opportunities for advancement and competitive pay, plus benefits and PTO as described in the job listing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience.
• Valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or willingness to obtain through training).
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsabilités

• Operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school safely and on time.
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as district requirements and standards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
