Job summary

Edgecomb Eddy School is seeking a School Bus Driver for immediate opening. Hours are 6am-8am and 2pm-4pm, with additional hours for field trips as needed.

Pay ranges from $25.20 to $32.88 per hour based on experience, plus year-round insurance benefits, holiday pay and PTO. CDL with bus endorsement is preferred; a clean driving record is required, and DOT background checks plus drug/alcohol screenings are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current CDL with Bus Endorsement preferred.
• Clean/excellent driving record required.
• Road training may be available for licensure pursuit.
• Must pass state and federal DOT background checks, drug/alcohol screenings, and physical examinations.

Responsibilities

• Transport students on morning and afternoon routes.
• Support field trips when scheduled by the school.
• Adhere to school policies and DOT regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensing: Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Bus Endorsement preferred.
• Driving History: Clean/excellent driving record is imperative.
• Training Option: Road training may be available for candidates who have completed the classroom portion and are currently working toward licensure.
• Screening: Must pass all state and federal DOT-mandated criminal background checks, drug/alcohol screenings, and physical examinations.
