Qualifications

• Must pass initial and annual school bus driver’s physical exam and periodic TB screening.
• Must pass initial and random drug and alcohol testing.
• Free of Child Abuse/Neglect history as verified by proper authorities.

Responsibilities

• Chaperones children in various settings to ensure safety.
• Transports children and ensures proper evacuation and safety checks.
• Involves parents in safety-related experiences.
• Performs maintenance checks and paperwork for the bus.

Skills

Working knowledge of vehicles and maintenance schedules

Proficient oral and written communication skills

Ability to deal tactfully with the public

Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certification

Education

Current PA Driver's License

Excellent driving record

Class C with CDL and S & P Endorsement
