Responsibilities

1. Operate school bus or vehicle safely on assigned routes.
2. Maintain high ethical standards and report suspicious behavior.
3. Report on time, follow routes, and assist passengers as needed.
4. Report accidents or incidents immediately.
5. Follow policies on student and passenger management.
6. Complete required paperwork promptly.
7. Maintain professional appearance and attitude.
8. Utilize vehicle equipment safely.
9. Additional duties as assigned, including for Paratransit drivers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old (25 for Tennessee drivers).
• Possess or obtain valid state driver’s license and certifications.
• Meet physical and medical requirements; pass substance screening.
• Complete training successfully.
• Practice defensive driving and safe work habits.
• Comply with all applicable driver requirements.
