Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) in Bennington, VT seeks a dedicated Bus Transportation specialist to transport enrolled children safely to and from the program and on field trips.

You will maintain required records, ensure safety procedures, and collaborate with families and school staff. A High School Diploma and a valid CDL with School Bus Driver and Passenger Endorsements are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL with School Bus Driver and Passenger Endorsements, or able to obtain one within 6 months from date of hire.
• Typing and navigating Word and Child Plus or other program-specific databases to childcare programs.
• Email / Microsoft Office/ Outlook use.

Responsibilities

• Transports children to and from program daily, and field trips when scheduled.
• Maintains records for each bus family, including emergency contacts and procedures.
• Produces timesheets and facility/maintenance inspections and requests weekly and in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
