Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is hiring drivers in Oakland, CA to operate student transportation services using our modern cloud-based platform. You will follow regulations and company procedures to ensure safe, timely routes and high-quality passenger care while supporting students and districts.

Qualified candidates may hold a CDL with P and S endorsements or opt for our training program to obtain CDL. A clean driving record and ability to pass background checks are essential, with summer and holiday

Qualifications

• Must maintain a safe driving record and pass background checks.
• Willingness to obtain CDL; training provided for non-certified drivers.
• Split-shift availability AM/PM daily is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles safely, following regulations and company procedures
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues

Requirements:

• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and CA School Bus Certificate (DL45)
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver's license with 3+ years experience
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age: 21 years
• Willingness to obtain CDL (training provided for non-certified)
• Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
