American Heritage Schools of Palm Beach County is seeking Bus Drivers for the Palm Beach Campus - Delray Beach, FL. You will operate school buses on designated routes, transport students to events, and maintain safety and discipline on board.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, reporting defects, and coordinating with dispatchers. A CDL with passenger endorsements and background checks are required, with benefits including insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A or B with passenger and school bus endorsements.
• DOT drug screening, physical exam, and background check required.
• Minimum six months of school bus driving experience or vocational training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate a school bus on designated routes per schedules.
• Transport students to and from school for activities.
• Pickup and discharge students at bus stops.
• Report incidents affecting safety or operation.
• Maintain bus in safe operating condition with daily inspections.
• Report mechanical defects to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus interior and seating.
• Ensure student order and discipline on buses.
• Communicate with dispatcher via two-way radio.
• Provides updates on emergencies, traffic, or incidents.
