Job summary

Trimble County Schools Trimble County Bus Garage in Bedford, Kentucky is seeking a Bus Driver to operate a school bus on designated routes for 4.5 hours daily over 180 days. You will transport students safely to and from school, field trips and events, conduct daily vehicle inspections, and assist in loading and unloading disabled students as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and school bus endorsement; driver must pass driving record check, KY. DOT physical, and criminal record check.
• Shall have demonstrated people skills to indicate the ability to function in a team oriented environment.
• Shall have a working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus over designated routes according to time schedules and regulations.
• Transport students to and from school, events, and field trips.
• Pick up and discharge students at bus stops under varying weather conditions.
• Maintain the bus in safe operating condition through daily inspections and maintenance.
