Location: Phoenix Campus | Employee Status: Permanent | Hours Per Week: 30 | Work Calendar: 10-Month | Pay Rate: $17.75 with 6 months of CDL P&S Endorsements

Other pay rate: $16.75 without 6 months of experience with CDL

Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and comfort, and greeting students as the first and last school staff of the day.

Position Details: The Non-CDL Route Driver operates the vehicle according to a set schedule, maintains vehicle safety, enforces discipline, and reports any issues or complaints professionally. Safety is paramount, and failure to operate safely may result in liabilities or harm.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years driving experience
• Willingness to participate in ASL classes and learn relevant vocabulary
• Ability to pass FBI and State background checks, obtain CIT, CPR, First Aid certifications, and a valid Arizona driver’s license
• Willingness to undergo drug testing

Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of policies, safety regulations, and effective communication skills. Ability to operate vehicles safely, follow routes, and maintain professionalism.
