Operation of a school bus in transporting students to and from school and school district functions. The employee is responsible for the safety of children upon entry to the vehicle and during transport. The employee may be accompanied by a School Bus Attendant. It is the employee's duty to check the vehicle for safety before trips. A supervisor assigns bus routes and periodically evaluates the employee's driving skills and knowledge of applicable State laws related to transporting students. Performs related work as required.
Free comprehensive training is provided to obtain a CDL and qualify for employment.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license. CDL is preferred but not required.
Applicants must be available to work from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to be considered.
