Southeast - STA is seeking a part-time school bus driver to transport students on a fixed daily route in Tuscaloosa, AL, with a 25-hour work week and a $19.00 hourly rate. A $500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, safety meetings, and occasional field trips or charters. Qualifications require 21+ years old, 3+ years driving history, and willingness to obtain a CDL with training through the company.

• As requested or desired to drive students on field trips, activity trips and charter runs to transport students and other passengers to and from their destinations.

Job description

Come join our team! As a school bus driver, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care. Bus drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of students to and from school along set routes, adherence to school bus safety and bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.
