About Towne Bus LLC

A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle, performing pre-trip inspections, child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are key tasks.

Location & Training

Hiring in Nassau County, Long Island. CDL license is a plus; free CDL training is offered if needed.

What We Offer

• Flexible Schedule: Split-shift with morning and afternoon shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 25-30 hours/week
• FREE CDL Permit Training
• $2,000 Bonus after CDL training and certification
• $2,500 Sign-on Bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses with P & S endorsements
• Starting Pay Rate for CDL School Bus Drivers: $28.76/hour (with CDL A or B with P and S Endorsements)

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses or vans safely and on time.

• Follow all traffic laws and district standards.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Assist passengers with boarding/exiting as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with 1+ years of driving experience.
• Valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements, or Class C with P & S endorsements (or willing to obtain via free training).
• Ability to pass drug test, background check, and comply with CDL guidelines.
• Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and complete CDL permit training.
