A Driver in Training will learn to obtain a CDL, driver endorsements, and our company policies. Upon successful completion, you will be promoted to a Professional Driver role.

Responsibilities Include

• Providing safe transportation by operating a school bus or other vehicle.
• Reporting on time and maintaining routes safely.
• Assisting passengers in emergencies.
• Reporting accidents or incidents promptly.
• Following student and passenger management policies.
• Completing required paperwork timely.
• Maintaining a professional appearance.
• Utilizing vehicle equipment safely.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (25 in Tennessee).
• Possess or be able to obtain applicable state licenses and certifications.
• Meet physical and medical requirements and pass drug screening.
• Complete and pass all training.
• Practice defensive driving at all times.
• Comply with all applicable driver requirements.
