• Purpose Statement: The position of "School Bus Driver" involves transporting students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions, enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport, ensuring the vehicle is in a safe operating condition, and ensuring the safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from buses.

• Calendar: 190-days (paid year-round)

• Starting Pay: $27.59

All Applicants Must

• Meet Testing Requirements: Pre-Employment/Post-Offer Physical Capacity Testing
• Be at least 21 years of age with at least 5 years of driving experience (CDL)
• Pass Criminal Background Fingerprinting Check with WSP and FBI (Upon Hire)
• Have an acceptable driving record
• Meet physical requirements set by law
• Undergo drug and alcohol testing (Upon Hire)
• Hold current First Aid Certification (Training Provided)
• Complete CDL classroom work and behind-the-wheel training provided (Upon Hire)
• Complete the online district application, including:
• Resume with work history
• 3 references – must be managers or supervisors from paid or volunteer capacities (cannot be family, friends, neighbors, or co-workers)
