Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PA bus driver's license with S, P and Airbrake endorsements.
• Completion of an approved driver training course and CDL.
• Maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain license/current status per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school bus according to route and schedule.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Enforce safety procedures and student conduct.
• Complete required trainings and clearances.

Hourly rates $19.80-$28.19 depending upon experience

Minimum Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Possess current Pennsylvania bus driver's license with S, P, and Airbrake endorsements.
• Proof of completion of an approved driver training course and CDL. Maintain all as applicable with state and federal guidelines.
• Maintain a good driving record.
• Maintain requirements for bus driver's license, including physical examination, driver schooling, etc., so as to keep bus license current.
• Ability to read, follow and understand both written and verbal instructions.

This position is eligible for fringe benefits after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period:

• Health, dental and vision insurance plan at an affordable cost: $135 once per month individual; $240 once per month family
• OR semi-annual stipend in lieu of health benefits if otherwise insured
• Employer paid $40,000 in life insurance
• Enrollment in PSERS pension program
