Job summary

Beacon Mobility seeks a School Bus Driver to transport students between pickup points and destinations, ensuring timely, safe service and professional conduct. You will perform pre-trip inspections, monitor riders, and maintain DOT compliance while on route.

• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays; use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Maintain reliable fueling; arrange vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage and repair records up to date.
• Fulfill administrative tasks, including office pickups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Overview

Tri County Transportation Inc. School Bus Driver is responsible for transporting clients from pickup points to their destinations in a timely and safe manner. The driver performs pre‑trip inspections, checks children after the route, keeps the vehicle within DOT regulations, and maintains professionalism in all client interactions.

• Transport clients to and from destinations, arriving on schedule.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections and post‑route child checks.
• Ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays; use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Maintain reliable fueling; arrange vehicle repairs as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Evening shift: Monday to Friday.
• Morning shift.
• Split shift.

Compensation

• Expected Rate: $62.79 – $64.47 per day (depending on route).
• Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week.
• Supplemental Pay: Attendance bonus, performance bonus, safety bonus.
