Role Description

This part-time School Bus Driver role is an on-site position located in Katy, TX. The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, special programs, and school-related activities while following established routes and schedules. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, practicing defensive driving techniques, and maintaining a clean, orderly bus environment. The driver will ensure compliance with district and state transportation regulations, assist students with boarding and exiting the bus as needed, and communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff. The role also involves reporting incidents or maintenance needs promptly and representing Katy ISD in a professional, courteous manner.
