Job summary

Epic Healthcare in Howell Township is hiring School Bus Drivers (CDL Class B with S&P Endorsement). Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with shifts across mornings, afternoons, days, evenings, and weekends.

Expected workload up to 40 hours per week and a supportive, family-oriented team atmosphere. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.50 per hour, plus a $1000 New Hire Bonus and benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with S&P endorsements or willingness to obtain training.
• Full-time and part-time availability with up to 40 hours per week.
• Strong communication and safety focus; ability to train where needed.
• Experience preferred but training provided for right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school buses on scheduled routes.
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Keep accurate records of passengers, routes, and incidents.
• Assist students with boarding and disembarking, ensuring safety.
• Communicate with dispatch about route changes or delays.
• Follow traffic laws and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain bus cleanliness inside and out.

School Bus Driver Responsibilities:

• Experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person
• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle checks
• Strong communication skills (bilingual is a plus)
• Availability to commute to Lakewood, NJ 08701 is required
