Fullerton Joint Union High School District is seeking a licensed bus driver to operate school buses and district vehicles. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe bus and complying with district safety protocols.

Applicants must hold a CA Class B (PS endorsement) and valid CA driver certifications, with First Aid/CPR and medical examiner credentials. A current DMV record is required, and certain probation restrictions must be cleared prior to employment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• Valid CA Class B (PS endorsement) Driver’s License (front and back).
• Valid CA Special Driver’s Certificate (front and back, Restrictions 1 & 6 preferred).
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate (Adult, Infant, Child).
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DL-51A & DL-51).
• Current DMV Driving Record.
• Probation period requires removal of Restrictions 2, 3, and 4 before conclusion.

Requires a fully completed, on-line application profile with the following documents scanned and attached:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent or higher degree
• Resume
• Valid State of California Class B (PS endorsement) Driver’s License (front and back)
• Valid California Special Driver’s Certificate (front and back preferably with Restrictions 1 and 6 only)
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate (Adult, Infant, Child) (front and back)
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DL-51A & DL-51)
• Current DMV Driving Record (from DMV only)
• Prior to conclusion of probation Restrictions 2 ,3, and 4 need to be removed
• Prior to employment all candidates must successfully complete the District's clearance process, which includes: drug/alcohol testing, physical and back evaluation. FUNCTION: Under supervision, drive a school bus and/or drive other District vehicles; operate assigned bus in a clean and safe condition; and perform related duties as required.
  

Effective 7.1.2025: 2025-2026: Salary schedule increase of 2% and a 2% off-schedule payment at year-end. 2026–2027: Salary schedule increase of 60% of the statutory funded COLA, plus any funded ongoing augmentations as provided in the State Budget Act; 2% off-schedule payment at year-end. 2027–2028: Salary schedule increase of 50% of the statutory funded COLA, plus any funded ongoing augmentations as provided in the State Budget Act; 2% off-schedule payment at year-end
