Job summary

First Student in Dayton, OH is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers to start morning and afternoon routes with opportunities for field trips. Training is provided for new and experienced drivers, with sign-on bonuses available to qualified applicants.

You’ll play a vital role in safely transporting students and supporting families every school day.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

New Driver Sign-On Bonus- $500.00

Experienced Driver Sign-On Bonus- $2,000 (Must have valid CDL-B, Passenger (P) Endorsement, School Bus (S) Endorsement and Air Brakes)

As a Part Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students’ days with morning pickup before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may be available.

School Bus Driver benefits:

Your day as a School Bus Driver will include:

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and child searches (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
