Job summary

Illinois Central is seeking School Bus Drivers for Blue Island, IL. No prior bus driving experience is required as CDL training will be provided. Roles involve safe transport, welcoming students, and assisting with loading and unloading.

We offer scheduled AM & PM routes, paid weekly, and benefits. Candidates must meet basic requirements and be 21+ with a valid license and clean background.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Pass a background check, drug screen & physical.

No school bus experience necessary! We will provide training for you to get your CDL and required endorsements!

We are proud to offer:

• $25.00 to $33.36 per hour (based on experience)
• Paid weekly
• AM & PM shifts
• No weekends required
• Time off during school holidays
• Weekly Attendance Bonus - $1.00 per hour (must work Monday-Friday, all shifts AM & PM)*

Hours:

• Route Hours guaranteed 4 hours per day when school is in session for the A.M./P.M. route package*
• Additional work hours available with mid-day routes, field trips and charters
• Summer School routes available – Work year-round with School Holiday breaks
