Job summary

Beacon Mobility is hiring a part-time school transportation driver in Connecticut. You will safely shuttle students to and from school and events on local routes, with AM/PM split shifts.

No nights, weekends, or holidays. The role offers paid CDL training, guaranteed hours, and a benefits package including dental and vision.

You need a CDL Class B with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain) and a valid DOT medical card, plus a clean driving record and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with P & S endorsements or willingness to obtain—training provided.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain.
• Safe driving record.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

• Pay: $23.65/hour
• Paid Training: $20.00/hour
• Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays

Requirements
