Job summary

North America Central is seeking a part-time Bus Driver in Bartonville, IL. You will transport students safely, greet them with a smile, and work within a supportive school community.

Benefits include weekly pay at $24 per hour, flexible hours, paid holidays and sick leave, plus a CDL license cost reimbursement. Must pass background check and drug test; 21+ with a valid license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid driver’s license for 3 years or longer.
• All driver applicants must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare, or charter driver.
• Read and understand street signs, route sheets, and maps.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks.
• Transport students safely and greet the students with a positive attitude and smile.
• Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, parents, and students.
• Attendance at all safety and training meetings.
• Good verbal communication skills.
