Job summary

Illinois Central School Bus is seeking safe, reliable School Bus Drivers to transport students on regular routes and charters. No experience? We provide paid CDL training and all the support you need to succeed.

Benefits include flexible hours, guaranteed 4 hours per day, weekly pay, paid holidays, and bonuses. Must be 21+, high school diploma, 3+ years license, and pass background/DOT/drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of driving license.
• Pass background check, DOT physical, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students on regular routes, charters, or as a spare driver.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including child checks.
• Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and students.
• Attend safety and training meetings.
• Maintain a positive attitude and excellent customer service.
