Job summary

North America Central School Bus is seeking a part-time bus driver to transport students safely with a positive attitude. You will read route sheets, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and cooperate with school staff and parents. Flexible hours and holidays are offered to support school operations.

Applicants must be at least 21, possess a valid driver’s license for 3+ years, and pass a background check and drug screen. CDL cost reimbursement is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid driver’s license for 3 years or longer.
• All driver applicants must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare, or charter driver.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks.
• Transport students safely and greet the students with a positive attitude and smile.
• Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, parents, and students.
• Attendance at all safety and training meetings.
• Good verbal communication skills.
