Job summary

North America Central School Bus in Bartonville, IL, is seeking a part-time Bus Driver dedicated to safety and excellent student service. The role offers flexible hours, weekly pay, and holidays.

You will transport students, perform vehicle inspections, and communicate with school staff, parents, and students with a friendly demeanor. Minimum education includes a high school diploma and a valid driver's license for 3+ years, plus background check and drug test.

Major Responsibilities

• Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare, or charter driver. Must read and understand street signs, route sheets, and maps.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks.
• Transport students safely and greet the students with a positive attitude and smile.
• Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, parents, and students.
• Attendance at all safety and training meetings.
• Good verbal communication skills.

Minimum Education & Certifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid driver’s license for 3 years or longer.
• All driver applicants must pass a background check and drug test.
