Student Transportation Of America in Barnstable, MA is seeking a dependable school bus driver to transport students safely along established routes. You will follow safety standards, perform daily inspections, and support a local management team.

Training is provided to help you perform the job confidently. Applicants must be at least 21, have a minimum of five years of verifiable driving history, a clean driving record in the past 24–36 months, and be willing to obtain a CDL.

As a school bus driver, you’ll be supported by a dedicated, local management team and receive the training needed to perform your job safely and confidently.

School bus drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from school along established routes, adhering to all safety standards and performing daily vehicle inspections. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.

Pay Rate: $31.00 per hour

PAID School Bus training provided

Responsibilities:

• Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops on the route.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.
• As requested or desired to take field trips, activity trips and charter runs to transport students and other passengers to and from their destinations.
