Qualifications

• Fingerprinting and successful background check required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Speak, read, write and understand English clearly.
• Ability to pass Utah School Bus Attendant Physical Assessment.
• CPR & First Aid certification within six months of hire.
• Adaptability and ability to work with diverse populations under stress.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education students to ensure safe loading/unloading and curbside drop-off.
• Secure students with seat belts and wheelchairs as needed.
• Support bus driver with safety instruction and route learning.
• Monitor student behavior and report incidents as required.
• Prepare incident reports and complete district paperwork.
