Distinctive Schools is seeking a School Bus Attendant at CICS Bucktown in Chicago to support safe student transportation. You will supervise students, assist with boarding and unboarding, track attendance, and help ensure rosters are accurate during daily routes and field trips.
The role requires a High School Diploma with preferred experience around school-aged children. It is a part-time, up to 20 hours per week, hourly position beginning September 2026 at our Bucktown location.

F.T.E: 10M Hourly- Part Time- up to 20 hours per week
Salary: $17.05 an hour

The School Bus Attendant is responsible for helping maintain a safe and orderly environment for students during transportation. Duties include student supervision, loading and unloading, attendance and roster tracking, student accountability, behavior management, and transportation documentation to help ensure students are transported safely and accurately to and from school and school-related activities.
Education: High School Diploma
Physical demands: Sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance. Move up and down stairs easily. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
